What is PromptPress built for?
PromptPress is built for teams that need to move from idea to publish quickly while keeping review, role control, and quality safeguards.
Is this multi-tenant?
Yes. Each workspace is an isolation boundary for users, content, workflows, and billing context.
Accounts and Access
Should we use personal or team workspaces?
Use personal workspaces for individual experimentation. Use team workspaces for shared editorial operations, approvals, and governance.
How many owners should a workspace have?
Keep owners limited, typically 1-2. Use admin/member roles for day-to-day execution.
Why can a user sign in but not access a workspace?
Most commonly: wrong workspace slug, missing membership, or incomplete invitation/identity setup.
Content and Modules
What is the difference between Studio, PromptPress, ContentVault, and ReleaseDeck?
- Studio runs structured workflows and manual article creation.
- PromptPress is optimized for fast generation.
- ContentVault is where drafts and publish-state management are centralized.
- ReleaseDeck supports review and approval of campaign artifacts.
When should we use workflows instead of manual drafting?
Use workflows for recurring formats and team consistency. Use manual drafting for one-off or highly custom pieces.
Where did PromptSpace agent pages go?
PromptSpace now focuses on Prompt Center and ModelSource. Use AgentBase for existing agents, execution history, and the coming Agent Forge creation flow.
Workflows and Campaigns
Can we reorder workflow steps after creation?
Yes. Step insert, delete, and reorder flows are supported.
What happens if a run fails?
Diagnose the failure and restart from a valid checkpoint step where supported. When a restart creates a replacement run, the old failed parent is treated as superseded and should not count as a separate failed campaign item.
What does discarding a run do?
It marks a run for archive lifecycle handling and removes it from active operational focus.
Site and Publishing
Can we manage both editorial and commerce pages?
Yes. Site mode can be news, ecommerce, or hybrid. Product and order work lives under the Commerce route, while Site Settings and Site Builder remain focused on tenant configuration and page design.
Can we create custom pages?
Yes. Site Builder supports custom routes and page-level publish controls.
Can we use Site Builder on mobile or tablet?
Yes. Site Builder works on mobile and tablet for reviewing and basic edits. For heavy layout work and block management, desktop gives you more working space.
What is the AI Motion Builder?
The AI Motion Builder is a conversational assistant built into Site Builder. Click the sparkle (✨) button in the toolbar, describe the visual effect you want (e.g. “Apple-like parallax hero” or “make this like a modern news homepage”), and it generates the full motion configuration. It can modify existing blocks and suggest adding new ones.
What games does my site include?
All sites include a Daily Sudoku (/games/sudoku) and Daily Crossword (/games/crossword). Both are free to play, refresh daily, and work on mobile. Games can be disabled per tenant in Site Settings → Features.
Billing
Why does billing sometimes look wrong after checkout?
Usually the checkout ran in a different workspace context. Re-check account slug and active workspace.
How do we avoid credit-related downtime?
Monitor credits weekly, define internal alert thresholds, and assign clear billing ownership.
Security
Can users access another workspace by changing headers?
Regular users should not be able to do this. Cross-account attempts are expected to be blocked.
Does PromptPress apply CSRF and secure headers?
Yes. Request protection and security headers are part of baseline security controls.
How should we report a suspected security issue?
Include workspace ID/slug, route, UTC timestamp, correlation ID if available, and minimum reproduction steps.
